Captain Cross's cloak is a genuine silk cloak which he received during his time as an admiral. With buttons and edges made of real gold, it was given to him in recognition of his leadership abilities. The captain still wears the cloak, but since he has become a lawless pirate, chasing treasure all over the world, the cloak has been adorned with his pirate motif.
