This tactile set helps emerging readers learn letter recognition, isolating and blending sounds, syllables, rhyming, beginning and ending sounds, and CVC words for reading in English. The rods are colour-coded blue for consonants and red for vowels. Rods for letters such as b and d feature dots for correct orientation.
