The Andalusian horse was bred by monks in southern Spain in the 15th century. With its graceful appearance, it captivated nobles and royalty in particular. Few would suspect, therefore, that the Andalusian was used as a cavalry horse for a long time. While it has always been known for its courage and strength, it is its elegance that truly distinguishes it. It is a unique dressage horse and even performs the famous aerial leap, otherwise only seen in the Lipizzaner horses of the High School of Equestrian Art.
