Schleich Frisian Mare

The Frisian mare by Schleich Horse Club enchants us with a majestic pose that is typical of large elegant Frisian horses. Frisians were named after their home the Dutch Friesland and are one of the oldest horse breeds in Europe. They have a characteristic black coloured coat a magnificent mane and a pretty tail. Another feature of Frisians is the long hair on their legs. The Frisian mare by Schleich Horse Club has elaborate braiding on her fetlock which makes her a unique collector's item. Frisians are big strong horses but they have a very docile and friendly nature.
