Product Description:

As late as the 18th century running at the quintain survived in English rural districts. In one variation of the pastime the quintain was a shield target, which, if the blow was a poor one, the striker was knocked off his horse by a blow from a heavy bag on the other end of the post. The world of Knights contains figures from both history and fantasy.
